As part of a residence at the University of Washington, Seattle, in May 2018, Garth Knox wrote and performed ‘Crystal Paths’ . This piece mixes the unique sounds of five of the original Harry Partch instruments with the no less unique sound of the viola d’amore. You can read a review of the first performance here.
